About Relationality Now
Meaningful relationships are central to our lives, but building them doesn't always come naturally. Whether it's making new friends, navigating dating, strengthening a committed relationship, or finding community, we can all benefit from improving how we relate to others.Relationality Now helps individuals and couples develop the skills, self-awareness, and confidence to build healthier, more meaningful relationships. Through individual coaching, couples coaching, and group experiences, we create opportunities to become known, connect with others, and put new relational skills into practice.
How It Works
We all have patterns of relating that influence how we communicate, handle conflict, build trust, and form connections. Some patterns help us build the relationships we want, and some unintentionally get in the way.Relationship coaching offers an opportunity for you to better understand your patterns and try new ways of relating. In our sessions, you will:Develop self-awareness: Recognize the relational patterns, assumptions, and habits that form your style of relating and shape your interactions.Build practical skills: Learn ways to communicate openly, navigate conflict, establish boundaries, and deepen connection.Practice new approaches: Explore different ways of responding and relating in a supportive environment.Grow in confidence: Develop the ability to initiate, build, and maintain meaningful relationships in different areas of life. The goal is not simply to improve one relationship, but to equip you with greater awareness and skills to carry into relationships throughout your life.
The Founder: Wayne Phillips
My interest in relational coaching grew out of my own experience. After college, I moved to a new state for a job. Although I was excited about this new chapter, I soon found myself feeling lonely. I struggled to build meaningful friendships, and the few relationships I had felt shallow. Then I met Scott, someone whose friendships seemed both numerous and deeply connected. When I opened up to him about my struggles, he offered some honest feedback that helped me recognize patterns in how I approached relationships—and how those patterns were affecting my ability to connect with others.I began putting his advice into practice, experimenting with new ways of relating. Over time, I found it easier to initiate relationships, open up, and develop deeper connections. That experience changed my life and sparked my interest in helping others navigate their own relational challenges. It also led me to pursue training in relational dynamics, counseling approaches, couples work, and practical techniques for conflict resolution and communication. Background and TrainingRelational Dynamics: Yalom Approach, Adler SchoolIndividual and Group Counseling: The Seattle School of Theology & PsychologyCouples Counseling: Prepare/Enrich, Allender School, and Differentiation/Crucible Approach of Dr. David SchnarchCBT Techniques: Conflict resolution and laddering technique
